Home MenuMinimum Housing Complaint Form
The City of Quincy is committed to ensuring the public health, safety and welfare insofar as they are affected by the occupancy and maintenance of structures. To that end, the City has adopted minimum requirements and standards for light, ventilation, space, heating, sanitation, protection from the elements, life safety, safety from fire and other hazards, and for safe and sanitary maintenance of dwellings and other structures.
If you are a resident of a property which you believe does not meet the minimum standards and wish to make a complaint, please complete the online version of the Minimum Housing Complaint Form below. You can also download the paper copy of the MINIMUM HOUSING COMPLAINT FORM and return by email, fax or in person. Once received, a City inspector will set up an appointment to determine if the complaint is a violation. If so, inspectors then direct the owner or property manager to correct the violation. A case is closed when the tenant confirms the problem is fixed or when inspectors conduct a reinspection to verify.
