2024 Citywide Cleanup Event 

The City of Quincy, in conjunction with Republic Services, is pleased to announce that its annual city-wide cleanup event will be held Wednesday, September 25th through Friday, September 27th on the northeast corner of the vacant lot located at Front and Payson Streets.

The cleanup site will be staffed and open to the public during the following hours:

• Wednesday, September 25th: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Thursday, September 26th: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Friday, September 27th: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

The event is open to city of Quincy residents only and participants will be required to provide a valid driver’s license or photo I.D. when entering the site. Commercial haulers are not allowed.

Residents are asked to be in line thirty minutes prior to closing time. Those not in line prior to that time will be turned away. Please bring someone to assist with the unloading of your items if assistance is required.

As in previous years, electronics, tires, yard waste, household garbage, batteries, chemicals and liquids will not be accepted. Due to State and Federal regulations, appliances containing refrigerants must have a sticker on it certifying that the refrigerant has been properly reclaimed.
