The City of Quincy does not have records on the private side of the service line because property owners own the lines. Identifying the type of pipe coming into your home will help us get a more accurate picture of the number of lead service lines in our community.  Please help us by trying a simple scratch test to indicate the type of pipe that comes into your home and to the water meter.  You can follow step by step instructions on EPA’s Quick Check for Lead or watch this video from Green Bay’s Water Department.
