The Department of Utilities is managed by a Director who has been appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. The Director is assigned and responsible for the Water and Wastewater Treatment facilities, customer services and billings, utility plants equipment, supplies and materials.

Water Line Protection Program

The City of Quincy is notifying residents of a program provided through a partnership between the National League of Cities (NLC) and Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA). Beginning March 1, 2012, this program will offer a warranty available to homeowners for repairs or replacements on the outside water line that runs from the home to the utility connection. SLWA was selected by the NLC as an Enterprise Programs Partner. After a decade in business, SLWA has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. The National League of Cities, representing over 218 million Americans, is the nation's oldest and largest organization devoted to strengthening and promoting cities as centers of opportunity, leadership and governance.

Pay your Utility Bills Online

Customers can now have the option of paying for their utility bill online.  You may pay your bill by credit card or electronic check.  You may also sign up to have your utility bill automatically deducted from your account each month. Please visit our online bill pay center.

Effective May 1, 2009:

Federal Regulation 16 CFR Part 681 requires a photo ID or password to access information regarding your account.
