The Quincy Fire Department recognized three volunteers for dedicated service to the department and the citizens of Quincy through the President's Volunteer Service Award. 

Wes Beitl was recognized with the Silver Award for performing between 250-499 hours worth of service in the previous year. Mr. Beitl serves the department as a safety consultant, guest instructor, and was instrumental in the establishment of the Abandoned Building Marking Program.
