March 2018 Employee of the Month

Firefighter Stapleton is a sixteen-year veteran of the department starting on April 22, 2002. He is certified as a Firefighter III, Apparatus Engineer, Hazardous Materials Technician B and an Emergency Medical Technician. He is a member of the Hazardous Materials Team and the Technical Rescue Team. He has also earned his Fire Officer I certification with the State of Illinois.

Mike serves as the department’s Apparatus Maintenance Service Officer and has been instrumental in the acquisition of the new fire apparatus.
