The 2013 Neighborhood Land Use Plan compares today's city with a community vision of the future. The plan assesses policies and actions recommended to achieve that vision. The planning process itself has produced a better understanding of Quincy and a readiness to deal with future issues. The residents who directly participated in the plan's development, as well as the community's leaders and elected officials, are better prepared to take advantage of unanticipated opportunities and confront unexpected challenges.
