Quincy Transit Lines offers door to door service to adults age 60 and over in addition to the regular fixed route bus service. Seniors can have a vehicle come directly to their residence and take them directly to their destination. The city offers rides in both minivans and buses for senior transportation. Buses have automated lifts and are wheelchair accessible if a rider needs this assistance.

Rides for senior transportation within the city limits are billed through the Quincy Senior Center, 639 York Street, at a cost of $2.50 per trip. Rides outside of the city, but within parts of Adams County, are billed at a cost of $6.00 per trip. No rides are available outside of Adams County. Monthly donation statements are sent to passengers by the Senior Center indicating the number of rides taken and donation requested to be paid to the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center.

Advance reservations are necessary for this service and can be made by calling Quincy Transit Lines at 224-3535 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our offices are located at 2020 Jennifer Road, Quincy, IL 62301.
