Road Closure: South 24th Street at Van Buren Street
Beginning Thursday, July 27, 2023 at approximately 6:30 am, South 24th Street will be closed at Van Buren Street. The roadway is being closed to allow crews to replace the water main as part of the Van Buren Street reconstruction project. The roadway is expected to re-open Monday, July 31, 2023.
After South 24th Street reopens, construction work will continue to take place for the next 2 months on Van Buren Street, east of South 24th Street.
Motorists are asked to drive carefully near the work zone and to use an alternate travel route during this time.
