2018 Motor Fuel Tax Asphalt Maintenance
Sealed bids for the 2018 Motor Fuel Tax Asphalt Maintenance in the City of Quincy, Adams County, Illinois, described herein will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 730 Maine Street, City Hall, Quincy, Illinois 62301 until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 25, 2018 and at that time publicly opened and read aloud in the City Hall Council Chamber.
The City of Quincy’s 2018 Motor Fuel Tax Asphalt Maintenance includes HMA surface removal and resurfacing, utility adjustments, pavement marking, gutter removal and replacement, PCC sidewalk improvements, sanitary sewer manholes, and other miscellaneous construction items.
Plans and specifications are available online at www.quincyil.gov/bids and may be examined at the office of Department of Utilities & Engineering, City Hall, 730 Maine Street, Quincy, Illinois 62301.
All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the “Proposal Bid” form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier’s check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications.
The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past.
